Aaron Kamin
Aaron Kamin is a multi-platinum songwriter, composer, producer, and music business leader. By 19 he had co-founded The Calling and signed with RCA Records and BMG Music Publishing, and he wrote the band’s hit “Wherever You Will Go,” now in Spotify’s 1 Billion Club and named Billboard’s #1 Adult Pop Song of the Decade. Selling more than 7 million records and charting in over 20 countries gave him a firsthand education in the business, and it grew into deep expertise in catalogs, publishing, rights, and global royalties.
Kamin knows how catalogs are built, valued, administered, and grown, with experience across acquisitions, licensing, sync, and royalties. He has strong relationships throughout all the major labels and publishing houses, and across the artist and executive community. His songwriting and production collaborators include The Backstreet Boys, LeAnn Rimes, Diane Warren, Katharine McPhee, and Jonny Lang.
Kamin composed the end title theme for Marvel’s Daredevil, co-scored with Graeme Revell, and his music appears in Love Actually, Disney’s Coyote Ugly, Sweet Home Alabama, and Smallville.
